vlayer Labs, a trustless verifiable data infrastructure powered by zero-knowledge proofs, today announced a partnership with Aztec Labs, who are building Aztec Network, a privacy-first L2 on Ethereum and Noir, the universal language of zero-knowledge.
Accessing on-chain data in a trustless manner poses significant challenges. The current solutions often come with limitations and trade-offs, especially when continuous, accurate, and up-to-date data is required without relying on potentially compromised intermediaries.
To address this issue, vlayer Labs has taken a crucial first step by partnering with Aztec to develop the inaugural Noir library. This powerful tool is designed to prove and verify historical data on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains. The comprehensive library handles proofs of account balances, storage, logs, receipts, and transactions. This means developers can easily prove that certain on-chain events took place or confirm token holders’ eligibility for future airdrops. The library is freely accessible on vlayer’s GitHub page for anyone to use.
The Aztec Labs team has been instrumental in offering guidance and financial support through a grant for developing in the Noir language.
