vlayer Receives a Grant from the Worldcoin Foundation for Anonymous On-Chain Identity Verification

vlayer Labs, a trustless verifiable data infrastructure powered by zero-knowledge proofs, has received a grant from the Worldcoin Foundation to revolutionize anonymous on-chain identity verification. This collaboration, a part of Wave 1 of the Worldcoin Community Grants Program, aims to prove that unique humans, verified by World ID, own specific on-chain assets without compromising user anonymity.

Creating anonymous on-chain identities has been a long-standing challenge in the world of almost entirely public blockchains. Proving ownership of web3 assets without compromising user anonymity is crucial for creating secure, trustless digital interactions, which can unlock numerous possibilities for both users and developers.

vlayer Labs seeks to use this support from the Worldcoin Foundation to develop infrastructure for anonymous identities, leveraging storage proofs and Worldcoin's unique human verification. It will inspire further advancements in World ID, Worldcoin's privacy-preserving proof of personhood, and provide open-source, customizable solutions for the developer community.
